Our Tahoe 2023 vacation began with a fantastic lunch at Gar Woods Grill in Carnelian Bay. Later in the week we hiked from the Ponderosa Ranch to Sand Harbor. Unlike in previous years, the lake was back to its stunning, vivid self. Finally, we took a road trip to Middlegate, NV on the “loneliest road in America”, route 50, for one of the best burgers you’ll ever have. On the way to Middlegate, we stopped in Virginia City, where they were having an antique car show. We bid farewell to Lake Tahoe with a beautiful sunrise.
