2023 saw a repeat trip to Big Bend National Park and a 3-night stay at the recently restored Perry Mansion in the Terlingua Ghostown. This trip included a night’s stay in the historic Gage Hotel in Marathon, Texas, and a first attempt to photograph the Milky Way from the Sotol Vista Overlook in Big Bend NP. Our final day included a trip through Big Bend Ranch State Park along the Rio Grande valley.
